GV Hydraulink Unveils In-House Designed 50,000 Nm Nutcracker for Heavy Earthmoving Sector

 

GV Hydraulink located in Shepparton Victoria, a network partner of Hydraulink Australia  one of Australia’s leading suppliers of hydraulic hose and fittings to the Mining, Construction, Earthmoving, Agriculture, Waste Management and Transport industries  has announced the completion of a major in-house engineering project: a fully designed, machined and manufactured 50,000 Nm Nutcracker.

Purpose-built for the safe and efficient removal of large retaining nuts on major earthmoving hydraulic cylinders, this specialised high-torque tool represents a significant capability milestone for the business.

Engineered and constructed entirely at GV Hydraulink, the heavy-duty Nutcracker is designed to support large-scale earthmoving equipment including Excavators, Bulldozers and Loaders. The unit is capable of handling cylinder rods up to 6 metres in length and 150 mm in diameter, making it ideally suited to major rebuilds and hydraulic overhauls.
